How do we make sure that the Romanian State does its job.
Politicians need to be part of the solution to the problems that citizens face – whether we are talking about justice, the environment or financing the development of local communities. Moreover, within the limits of their legal powers, they have a duty to actively contribute to changing the way the country is governed and administered in the interests of the citizens, not the personal or party interests.
As a Member of the European Parliament, I have the right to ask questions to public institutions and authorities.
One of the important tools that any parliamentarian has, including those in the European Parliament, is to ask formal questions to Romanian or European state institutions and public authorities – the right to ask questions about an official action, a policy, a certain behavior, etc. .
The first step is to ask for responsibility.
There are many problems to be solved and I am determined to make full use of the mandate entrusted to me by the vote of the Romanians to contribute to the transformation of Romania into a country with a future for all of us. We are accustomed to resign ourselves too easily that the “state” does not do its duty. An interpellation may not solve the problem completely and immediately, but it is a step we can take to change what has not worked for 30 years.
Together we change the future today.
Through the dozens of questions already submitted, I asked for clarifications, answers and taking responsibility for important topics, topics of public interest or related to my work in the country and in the European Parliament. Together with my team, we corroborate the citizens’ complaints with concrete information obtained from official sources, insisting on assuming responsibility for the attributions of each public institution or local authority.

Citizens have the right to receive answers!
You can also request information from public authorities and institutions based on law 554/2001 on access to information of public interest.
This law allows you to submit a request that obliges the authorities to provide you within a period provided by law answers and data that concerns us all.This can mean a lot, from the allocation of public money, to the way the state institutions work, to the motivations of some decisions with an impact on the citizens.
